COVID 19 Updates
Coronavirus is a rapidly evolving situation and AHRC will provide updated information and guidance as it becomes available from CDC and WHO
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention added six symptoms of the novel coronavirus to its list, suggesting health experts are learning more about the growing number of ways physicians see the virus affecting patients. The symptoms, which the CDC reports could appear two to 14 days after exposure to the virus, are:
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell

AHRC Community Urgent Care Services
What is Urgent Care?
Urgent care is a category of walk-in care in a professional caring medical facility outside of a traditional emergency room. Urgent care centers primarily treat injuries or illnesses that can’t wait for your regular doctors, but aren’t serious enough for Emergency Room (ER) visits. Urgent care centers can treat routine injuries and illnesses such as catarrh “common cold”, Red eyes “Conjunctivitis”, check blood glucose level, blood pressure, perform physical exams, take X-rays, and mobilize broken bones, relief of diarrhea, oral rehydration, temporal pain management and more. Urgent care center waiting times are often much shorter than an ER, and traditionally cost much less.
