Medical Mission Project
AHRC Medical Mission Services started on August 24, 1999. It provides quality healthcare programs and functions as a bridge of medical assistance to the living-poor, marginalized and the medically underserved populations, including providing essential and urgently needed medical supplies and equipment in many regions of the world’s poorest countries, particularly in Africa.
Since its inception, MMP has created and sustained deliveries of first aid boxes to three elementary schools and established one community health clinic and urgent care center in the Ekpeye community to enhance preventative care, treat illnesses and injuries with a network of professionals and paraprofessionals. AHRC-MMP responds to individuals, families and communities facing sudden crisis that threaten civil space with basic life support services (water, food, clothing and medicaments for primary relieve of minor pain or aches). Our focus is to secure as much needed resources as possible to help those in need. We also provide information during disasters and distribute educational materials and link people to care and services.
